Children's Ministry

Sunday Services

Our Children’s Sunday school meets every Sunday morning from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00am in the Little Ark building on the east end of our main structure. Children of all ages can come and experience the love of God found in Christ. This Sunday School is for both our Sanctuary and Connections worship services.

The Children’s Ministry program is designed to celebrate the joy of childhood and the importance of family faith development. Programs are designed to teach your child the truth about God in fun, spiritual and engaging ways. We also recognize that every child and family is unique and honor diversity in lifestyle, faith background and physical, mental and learning challenges.

We know there are times parents struggle with how to answer those tough questions that only children ask. Our goal is to provide your whole family with the tools of the faith.

Parents may drop off their children ages 8 weeks – Pre-K in the Nursery starting at 9:00am Sunday mornings or take them to worship service.

During Sanctuary worship the children (grades Pre-K – 5th) are invited down to the front of the congregation to listen to a Children’s Sermon, and then have the option to return to their parents or to the Little Ark Building to attend Children’s Sunday School.

During our Connections worship service, children will be escorted to the rear of our Youth and Ministry Building to the Children’s Room after their Children’s Sermon or may return to sit with their parents.

Pre-K

For toddlers and Pre-K children, we offer a special class that starts at 9:20 a.m. and continues until the worship service is over.  The kids will have a Bible lesson and activity on their level, and also learn church songs and play musical instruments.

Infants and Nursery

We offer a nursery during the Sunday school time and during the worship service. During the church service, the nursery is located in the Baby Ark/Cry Room, located in the back of the sanctuary. Parents can drop off their baby or sit in with their infant and listen and watch the sermon from behind glass panels. This nursery is open during the entire time of the regular church service.
